Our Coalition meets once per month via Zoom meeting. All are welcome to attend and share their ideas and thoughts to support breastfeeding in Luzerne County. We will be transitioning to in-person AND virtual formats later in 2023. We know Luzerne County is geographically large and very diverse. Convening breastfeeding resources in a strategic and sustainable way is more important than ever and anyone who has interest in getting involved should absolutely consider attending one of our monthly meetings. All are welcome!

Great! And to answer your first question — YES, this Coalition is for you. Establishing the foundational elements of our Luzerne County Breastfeeding Coalition’s ‘village’ of advocates can be made possible through the efforts of people just like you.
The Luzerne County Breastfeeding Coalition is a beautiful blend of lactation experts, healthcare providers, nonprofit and social service sector leaders, and community members interested in and committed to advancing the cause.
